The registration fee for a workshop/tutorial/short course includes ONLY the computer facilities (both soft- & hardware) used and some lecture notes.
It does not include meals or the main conference registration. The software used are open source software and hence they are not sold.
Attendees do not have to attend the main conference, but encouraged to do so. Attendees can bring a laptop
to the sessions but this is not required.
