Call For Contributions

NOTE: Please submit your paper(s) online by following the instructions here. Authors must first create an account prior to their submissions.

Only full papers are solicited for review. All submitted proposals will be reviewed by at least two experts in the specialty of the paper, and only papers accepted by peer referees will appear in the conference proceedings. Papers will be accepted based on significance of work, originality, technical content, interest to a wide audience and clarity of presentation.

NEW: Selected papers will be published as special issues in international journals such as AJICT for papers in ICT and Asian Social Science for papers in arts, sociology, politics, culture, history,philosophy, economics, business, management, education, law, linguistics and psychology. We have also accepted an invitation from Rivers Publishers, Denmark and IGI Global, USA to publish extended versions of selected papers as edited books. Authors interested in any of these projects should indicate so at the time of their submissions.

Paper Submission Guidelines

Original contributions (full papers, panel sessions, short courses, tutorials, etc.) are solicited for the various divisions of the multi-conference and they must be submitted online at the online submission page. All ICAST’07 technical paper presenters must register at the FULL conference rate. For authors presenting multiple papers, one FULL registration is valid for up to three (3) papers.

  • All submitted proposals will be rigorously reviewed by experts in the specialty of the paper, and only papers accepted by peer referees will appear in the conference proceedings.

  • Papers addressing any panel session topic are especially welcome. Such papers should address a specific panel session issue and propose innovative approaches to solve the issue.

  • The format for the manuscript must satisfy the following requirements:

  • The paper must follow the two-column format Template.doc or Template.doc or template.pdf with the maximum length of 6 pages (A4, single line spacing, 10pt font). However, ICAST will accept up to 10 A4 pages.
  • The paper must begin with an abstract of not more than 200 words, including 3 to 5 keywords at the end of the abstract.
  • Only FULL PAPERS are accepted for review, and papers must comply with the recommended formatting guidelines
  • Submitted papers should be original and must have not been published nor submitted for review/publication to any other editorial.
  • Papers must be written in clear English language
  • Papers in excess of 6 pages will be charged an over-length fee of US$50 per extra page. Papers in excess of 10 pages will not be considered for conference review.
  • All figures, tables, references, etc. are included in the page limit, and must be placed in the appropriate positions in the body of the paper.
  • Papers must be submitted in MS Word or in Portable Document Format (PDF). The CRV of the paper MUST NOT have any page numbering.
  • Double-blind review: Please do NOT put your name or affiliations on the paper(s) that you submit for review to ensure fair ratings.
